About This Project
Celebration of Love now known as (The Tom Ramsey Foundation) partnered with the Central Texas Food Bank to host a drive-thru food pantry in the Shoreline Church parking lot on Burnet Road in North Austin. The pantry was open to everyone. Families simply pulled up, opened their trunks, and volunteers loaded boxes of groceries for them, including meat, dairy, and fresh produce.
The day was powered by volunteers from across our community, including elders and sisters from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They directed traffic, staged pallets, and loaded vehicles to keep the line moving. Together, we provided boxes of food to 200 families in a single morning.
This work would not be possible without our directors, Howard and Pat Chase, whose ongoing leadership and support keep the pantry running, and our partners at the Central Texas Food Bank, who supply the food and trucks that make each distribution happen.
