A Lifetime of Philanthropy

Welcome to The Tom Ramsey Foundation

Building Bridges of Hope

About Our Founder, Tom Ramsey

For more than two decades, Tom Ramsey of Austin, Texas has quietly built a legacy rooted in service, compassion, and action. While many talk about helping communities, Tom has made it his life’s work to show up — in times of crisis, in neighborhoods often overlooked, and in places where a helping hand can change the course of a family’s future.

What began as a simple desire to help others grew into a lifelong mission that has impacted thousands of lives across Texas, the United States, and Latin America.

Tom often describes his philosophy in simple terms: “We build bridges.”

That idea has guided every project he has undertaken — connecting communities with resources, organizations with opportunities, and people with hope.

The Tom Ramsey Foundation supports initiatives that address physical wellness, mental and emotional well-being, access to essential services, and safe community environments.
